We safely remove trees of all shapes and sizes utilizing a combination of climbing arborists, ropes, mechanical and non-mechanical assistance and rigging systems.  Of course when the situation allows, we use precise felling techniques from the ground.

Pruning

Correctly pruning away dead or dying branches can improve the health and longevity of your trees and can minimize risk of hazardous branches.  Our climbing staff uses best practices with the health of the tree at top of mind.

Chipping

Our 18" Bandit chipper can take on projects big and small.  Community clean ups to a weekends worth of yard work.  The capacity of our chipper allows for large portion of the tree to be chipped, leaving less logs on your property once the project is complete.

Forest Health Thinning

Working with a private forester, we can work with you to come up with goals and priorities and do the work to bring those ideas into reality.  Whether that's more light, more diversity, aesthetics, wildlife habitat, or anything else - we can help.

ABOUT

HingePoint is a full service tree removal and pruning business located in the Methow Valley.  Our experienced team of climbers and fellers can work with you to meet your goals, whether they're reducing fire risk, creating more light, removing hazard trees, or any number of other things.

Chris Moore (that's me) owns and operates the business with most jobs taking place in the upper part of Methow Valley (Mazama and Winthrop).

My wife and I moved to the Methow in 2016 with our dog Cormac who joins us on most job sites.  When I'm not in the trees, I spend my time mountain biking, boating, running and skiing.

When the snow falls, the chipper and saws go into hibernation and I put on my instructor hat and teach nordic skiing throughout the valley.
